Shake weight, 3 minute legs & the snuggie, Really?

Seriously? Who developed these two "exercise" devices? If you have not seen the Shake Weight or 3 minute leg commercials please google them. You will get a good laugh at the very least. They can not be serious in my mind, but apparently they are. Where does this stuff come from these cult type items that most people just shake their head at and the others who don't question the stupidity of them will buy them. The snuggie is another prime example, do the commercials ever show what they look like from the back? The answer is no because the back is open and the material is hardly enough to cover anything. They are worse than a hospital gown, at least hospital gowns have the same amount of material all the way around. But there are people who will still buy all three products, I just won't be one of them. Maybe instead of being in the rag business I should just come up with a product that makes someone look ridicules while they are using or wearing the product. After all the chia pet is still alive and well! Any suggestions are welcome!
